What Is Rotary?
Rotary is an organisation of business and professional people, united
world-wide, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical
standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the
world.
Northwich
Northwich is situated in the heart of rural Cheshire
surrounded by lush countryside but within easy commuting distance of
Manchester, Liverpool and Chester. It has two rivers running through
the Town, the River Dane and the River Weaver. Northwich is a town historically
renowned for the production of salt and for the recently restored and
reopened Anderton Boat Lift which transports waterways traffic between
the River Weaver and the Trent and Mersey Canal, and is shown in the
artists impression used in the background of this website.

Our Meeting Times and Venue
We meet for lunch at 12.30 for 12.45 most Mondays at the Winnington
Park Recreation Club, Park Road, Winnington, Northwich, CW8 4EB. When
there is a 5th Monday in the month it is an evening meeting when partners
and guests are invited and this is usually at a different venue. Club
President Juan Cunliffe and his fellow Rotarians are always pleased
to welcome visiting Rotarians to meetings. Please telephone Northwich
01606 74301 before 10am on the day to make arrangements to attend.
The Rotary International Theme for the year 2007/8 is "Rotary
Shares". Rotarians worldwide are encouraged to develop this theme
within current and new projects.
